In a recent interview with WSJ, Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activation Blizzard responded to the rumour of Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 for the first time. He said, “this is a good idea, but we haven’t any plan yet. Our subscribers are clamouring to want the world of Call of Duty”. I hope I can operate this game tomorrow. However, this is impractical. We have many problems to think about. Since its launch last year, the total time that players spent in plyaing Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 on XBOX LIVE exceeded 1.7 billion hours. You see, we have rich operating experience of MMORPG. If Call of Duty can become a MMORPG, we won’t choose the free-to-paly mode. Because this mode isn’t suitable for our games
